Insite’s Board of Directors

Ken joined Insite’s Board of Directors in 2018. He is an experienced software and technology leader, having served as the President and COO of Infor as well as the COO of IBM Internet Security Systems. During his time at Infor Walters executed more than 25 acquisitions and grew from $40M to $800M in revenue. With over 30 years of experience in the information technology and software applications market, Ken has a proven successful track record of global leadership, acquisitions, growth and operational excellence. Ken has a B.S. in Eduction from Bowling Green State University in Ohio.

Roger is a co-founder and managing partner of Volition Capital, a growth equity firm, and focuses on investments in software and technology-enabled business services. Roger currently serves on the board of Insite Software, as well as the board of G5 Search Marketing, iPipeline, LoanLogics, RedBrick Health, Velocify, Vibes Media, and Visual IQ. Prior to helping found Volition Capital in 2010, Roger was a partner at Fidelity Ventures, and before that, a partner with Apax Partners. He was previously a vice president of GE Equity and started his career at Arthur Andersen in accounting and corporate finance. Roger holds a B.S. in accounting from Syracuse University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Ken Holec has more than 30 years’ experience establishing strategy, leadership and execution for both private and public technology companies. He will help guide Insite’s growth with a focus on strategy organization and financial guidance. Holec formerly held the position of chief executive officer at Lawson Software, ShowCase, Peopleclick Inc., and most recently at Jobs2web, where he helped build the leading Software as a Service recruiting marketing platform, recently purchased for $110 million by SuccessFactors/SAP. Holec currently serves as director at Virteva, an independent IT consulting and managed services firm serving enterprise clients and medium-sized businesses.

Brian co-founded Insite in 2004, and has provided strong strategic and sales leadership for the organizations products and eCommerce strategy. Brian is well-versed in the needs of Insite’s manufacturing and distribution clients as a result of his strong ERP consulting background plus his experience and knowledge surrounding b2b ecommerce. Before starting Insite Brian served a number of sales and marketing positions at 3M working closely with major retailers including Target, Wal-Mart, Office Depot and Staples. From there he started a consulting company working with manufacturing and distribution companies to modernize their supply chain and order-entry processes. Brian holds a BA in Business from Hamline University and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas School of Business.

Steve joined Insite’s Executive team in 2013, and also serves on Insite’s Board. Most recently he served as the General Manager of Jobs2web, a SaaS recruitment marketing company (backed by Updata Partners) that was acquired by SAP in December 2011. Steve is a proven leader in building and helping scale technology companies. Prior to Jobs2web, Steve served as the CFO & VP of Business Development for Harland Medical Systems, a venture backed med-tech company also based in Minneapolis. He brings a broad background in business development & strategy, finance, and operations, including experience in consulting and public accounting (Grant Thornton) as well as manufacturing (Sara Lee). Steve holds an M.B.A. from the University of Illinois, and a B.A. in philosophy from Wheaton College (IL).
