Disrupt: to cause disturbance or interrupt the normal progress or way of doing something
Digital disruption refers to disturbances or interruptions of established ways of doing things that are enabled through digital technologies. Disruption changes how we think, do business, learn or behave. Existing markets and industries are replaced with more efficient and worthwhile ways. Disruption can be a wonderful, creative opportunity but can be destructive and threatening if you’re not on the forefront of this technology. No one product or company is irreplaceable.
