What You’ll Do:

  • Conceive, develop, test and present ideas that deliver the highest quality user experience in terms of innovation, simplicity and consistency
  • Collaborate closely with Product team and customers to help define detailed product requirements as interactive prototypes, descriptions and detailed wireframes
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, and screen flows across a variety of digital assets including web, mobile and email
  • Extend the visual design system language, pattern libraries and usage guidelines
  • Lead usability tests internally and with customers to gather research, summarize findings and present solutions to the Product team to identify areas of improvement for our digital products
  • Communicate and present the designs and design ideas to stakeholders and developers as visualizations in a clear, well-documented form
  • Leads and mentor individuals on the UX team regarding deliverables related to the visual aspect of Insite’s digital consumer experience from ideation to prototype, including design frameworks, conceptual design, wireframes, interaction design, visual design, design specifications and research
  • Further develop the designs and design materials in sufficient detail that they can be expressed as clear features suitable for implementation by software development teams
  • Work with developers to ensure the designs are implemented as intended and the integrity of the user experience is maintained in the final product
  • Consult with clients to understand their goals and continually incorporate feedback to improve the UI/X experience

What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX designer building digital software products
  • Associate of Arts degree in a field such as graphic design, web design, interactive design, or equivalent experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Must have an online portfolio with examples of user workflows, design mockups, and documentation reflecting the design thinking used to solve specific customer or business problems
  • Proficient with digital prototyping tools, preferable Sketch and InVision, including a deep knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
  • Familiarity with B2C/B2B eCommerce and application experience
  • Front-end development experience or knowledge with coding HTML and CSS a nice to have
  • Knowledge of web-based technologies and their impact on the feasibility of design solutions, including the capabilities and limitations of Web technologies Flex, Ajax, React, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, jQuery, and various other technologies a plus
  • Commitment to improving processes and methods and maintaining a strong professional relationship with the UX design community and overall industry knowledge

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide Tier 1 support for customer requests. This includes responding, identifying, and or routing issues efficiently to meet SLA agreements
  • Work directly with customers on technical support issues as needed including following up with the customer, identifying the underlying problems and bringing the issue to resolution
  • Perform software debugging and analysis to aid in performance improvements and/or resolving software or data issues
  • Explain functionality or behavior from a code perspective
  • Follow standard escalation process
  • Work on development/enhancement projects as directed
  • Provide feedback on product structure, technology and features to the Engineering teams
  • Other tasks and functions as may be assigned by management
  • Document software defects and create knowledge base articles
 

What You’ll Need:

This job requires an intermediate level of understanding of programming and software design within a product development environment. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field required. Position also includes a minimum of 1 year applicable experience including experience with the following technologies:

  • C#, .NET
  • ASP.NET
  • MVC
  • Javascript (Typescript preferred)
  • SQL Server
  • REST API
 

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working in B2B eCommerce
  • Experience working with Zendesk, Jira, Slack, and SalesForce
  • Experience working with ERPs
