Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue and logo growth by successfully guiding prospects through a well-defined sales engagement model, one which ends with Closed-Won 75% of the time
  • Self-generate approximately 25% of pipeline through phone, email, social media & professional networking
  • Collaborate closely with the BDR and Marketing teams, helping these internal partners educate, focus and support their efforts in opportunity creation
  • Provide consistent, insightful and accurate CRM reporting, including sales forecasts and opportunity details
  • Engage prospective customers effectively virtually and in-person, via presentations and storytelling
  • Consistently achieve (exceed) quota, and have a blast doing it

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar field required
  • 3+ years of experience as a successful Inside Sales Rep (ISR) or AE in a SaaS organization, preferably with a small to mid-sized company
  • B2B eCommerce experience a plus, as is experience selling technology to manufacturers and distributors
  • Proven ability to execute outbound prospecting strategies including: Pre-call planning, opportunity qualification, objection handling, territory management
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication abilities, as well as organization, multitasking, and time management skills
  • Verifiable track record of hitting or exceeding quota
  • Salesforce exposure strongly preferred

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver the right products for the right customers by championing a user-centered design process and collaborating with internal teams to understand our B2B customers’ unique business processes and pain points
  • Clearly identify, define and articulate the features and capabilities we will build and the corresponding value it will bring to our customers
  • Lead successful product launches, including: development of messaging and positioning, internal and external communications planning, pricing, testing, training/support, implementation planning, execution, etc.
  • Recommend and guide capital investments to the best build, buy or partner opportunities through product portfolio planning and road mapping
  • Develop ROI (Return on Investment) models and KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) to aid in the vetting and prioritization of items on the product roadmap
  • Manage intake process that provides transparency into items and its current disposition on the backlog
  • Participate in an Agile development process for one or more functional teams with focus on backlog story prioritization, project scope and success criteria to help ensure high quality and on-time delivery
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Design/UX and Development teams on the definition of acceptance criteria
  • Provide regular status updates for projects, health of the release and intake queue to the larger Insite organization
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to develop launch plans, press releases, webinars, white papers, sales collateral, training, documentation, analyst briefings, media interviews, etc.
  • Provide additional training support to the Sales team, educating them around market differentiators, competitive strengths, competitive weaknesses, etc.
  • Support the sales process by participating in sales calls, client visits, demos, presentations, and tradeshows
 

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years relevant industry experience
  • 3+ years in a digital/ecommerce marketing role, utilizing digital tools (e.g. CMS, eCommerce, CRM, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work with cross-functional teams, clients, partners and market analysts
  • Practical experience and knowledge in e-commerce, online retail, software/hardware development and technology required
  • Knowledge of ERP integrations and B2B business environments a plus, specifically in distribution and manufacturing
  • Strong problem solver, presentation, analytic, and collaboration skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Meeting management and group process facilitation skills required
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with multiple tracks and is a high-energy leader
  • Team player and is concerned about the good of the company and its customers
