Last month Insite was among the companies selected to participate in the Forrester Wave™ evaluation entitled, The Forrester Wave: B2B Commerce Suites Wave, Q3 2018.

Forrester’s report evaluated the 12 most significant B2B commerce suite providers against three areas: current offering, strategy and market presence. We are very proud that the independent research group named Insite a leader in B2B Commerce.

Forrester noted that “Insite has rounded out the experience capabilities of its already strong B2B platform and has garnered a strong reputation from some of the most complex B2B manufacturers and distributors.” Another note stated, “Customers describe Insite as laser-focused on B2B with capabilities right out of the box.”

Finding the right commerce solution that understands the complexities of B2B is not always easy, and the right decision can mean the difference between success and failure for many B2B companies. But, The Forrester Wave report is a perfect example of a third party analyst report that can help provide guidance for manufacturers and distributors as they make transformational business decisions.

Whether you are selling directly to a consumer or to another company, one thing is certain, everyone wants and expects intuitive, easy to navigate experiences. It’s true that B2C eCommerce providers have charged the way in delivering seamless user experiences. But that doesn’t mean it’s impossible to achieve in B2B. The truth is the technology market to support the complex needs of online B2B selling was not always as mature as that of B2C.

That’s what companies like Insite set out to change. We are proud to be one of the companies leading the pack in B2B. Since our inception we’ve been laser-focused on meeting and exceeding the needs of manufacturers and distributors. We understand that B2B is far more complex than B2C and we’re determined to deliver the experiences so many B2B customers have come to expect through their own, personal buying experiences.

Though B2B eCommerce practitioners have lagged behind their B2C peers, it’s now fair to say that the tides have shifted as B2B Commerce Suites have officially come of age.

We’re hosting a webinar on Tuesday October 30, 2018 at 12:00 p.m CDT entitled, B2B Commerce Suites Finally Come Of Age with special guest John Bruno, Senior Forrester Analyst to unpack the findings from The Forrester Wave™: B2B Commerce Suites, Q3 2018.

The idea that B2B companies must mirror B2C experiences in their entirety is creating expensive, if not dangerous misalignment within B2B eCommerce initiatives. It’s important to distinguish the points where B2B and B2C converge and diverge. Fortunately, Bruno will also spend time illustrating the differences between B2B Commerce Suites and B2C Commerce Suites in the webinar.

Finally Bruno will highlight how B2B businesses can leverage new capabilities to springboard their digital practices.

Register for the webinar now and join us on October 30th to understand how B2B Commerce Suites like Insite are upping their game and helping manufacturers and distributors achieve success.
