Tom Frishberg Named CEO at InSite Software
MINNEAPOLIS—April 26, 2004—InSite Software, producer
of best of breed software for manufacturing and distribution
companies, today announced that Tom Frishberg is the company’s
new chief executive officer. Frishberg has more than 25 years
of information management experience, and has held a wide range
of positions in the software development and service business
focusing on manufacturing, distribution and service industries.
Frishberg co-founded Synergistic Software Systems, Inc. (SSSI),
in 1983, a value added reseller of accounting software products.
He was primarily responsible for product development, custom
development, consulting and support at SSSI. Frishberg most recently
was a principal at BDO Seidman, LLP, where he was responsible
primarily for packaged software development.
InSite Software is the sister company of InSite Group, which
provides IT management consulting, development and enterprise
software support services to manufacturing and distribution companies
in the Upper Midwest.

was spun off from InSite Group, an IT management consulting firm,
in 2003 with the mission of supplementing and supporting clients’ existing
IT infrastructures. Its products include InSiteShip®, which
automates shipping activities from the shipping floor to delivery,
and InSiteOnline®, an online order entry software application
designed specifically for mid-sized manufacturers and distributors.
Both products can be fully integrated with a wide range of enterprise
software applications.

Managers
at InSite Group, a Richfield-based consulting firm, decided
that they'd capitalize on the effort they put into developing
custom software products by spinning off a separate company
to sell those programs.
the
new company, called InSite Software Solutions, will concentrate
on marketing software applications such as InSiteShip, which,
as you can probably guess, helps manage corporate shipping
departments.
Insite
has also hired Tom Frishberg, new president for the company.
His previous job was vice prsident of technology for Synergistic
Software in Minneapolis.
inSite
Group will stay under its current name and management, and
will continue to focus on application development and customized
work for business customers. |
