Business Issue

AmeriPride's foray into selling their products versus renting them — particularly for industries such as the oil field services market — prompted them to set up an eCommerce website for these transactions. Their first site launched six years ago, but it was built upon an eCommerce platform that quickly became outdated, was unable to scale, and was no longer being supported by the vendor. With their large number of customers — each with its own requirements for garment styles, graphics and text — AmeriPride knew they needed to improve in the digital sphere to continue as a premium, commercial service provider.


Early results for both the Web Store and the Custom eStores have been incredible. Since June 2014, AmeriPride has built 13 Custom eStores and plans to add one new Custom eStore per week with a target of 150 Custom eStores per year. AmeriPride has seen a significant increase of 5 and 8 points in orders through the Web Store in the two months following launch.
