Another B2B Online event is on the books. As one of the few events focused exclusively on B2B digital technology for manufacturers and distributors, if you attended, you likely have a carry-on full of literature and a brain full of new concepts, technology and best practices to help your organization be more relevant and competitive in the digital age.
It’s been fun to watch the growth and success of this event over the years. Insite has been part of B2B Online since 2013, before many B2B companies even thought of hiring a “VP of Digital” or a “Director of eCommerce.” Today, this event is well-attended by many folks with those titles and quickly growing to become one of the premier events for B2B digital leaders.
We heard a number of thought-provoking sessions, ranging from front-end search and marketing strategies, to the importance of back-end integration between online and offline systems. Several Insite customers and partners participated in panels and sessions, including Tom McElroy, senior vice president of marketing and Julie Stewart, eCommerce manager from Hisco; Justin Racine, director of marketing and eCommerce from Geriatric Medical; and Keith Klade, vice president of eCommerce from Insite’s partner Layer One Media. Insite’s Dwayne Doshier also presented a keynote at the event and encouraged attendees to consider the importance of a strategic plan before deploying an eCommerce site.
